I've never really been a hummus fan until I made the perfect one! If you like hummus you are going to just love this recipe!
Nicole's Homemade Hummus:
1 can Garbanzo beans
Salt
Minced Garlic
Olive Oil
Ground Cumin Seed
Pampered Chef garlic and crushed peppercorn rub
Open can of garbanzo beans, reserve some of the liquid and set aside. Put Garbanzo beans into mixing bowl. Mix on low speed 15 min or until beans are mashed. Scraping side often and adding some of the reserved liquid to mixture until you reach your desired consistency. Adding in 1/4 tsp Salt, 1/4 tsp cumin seed, pinch garlic, 1 tsp olive oil.
I really go by flavor so use my measurements as a stepping stone. Add to your own taste. I then added The Pampered Chef's crushed garlic and peppercorn rub to this. Serve with Pita chips or pretzels.
Refrigerate for up to 2 days.
